Installation & System Requirements
Screendox works using two (2) software applications – a Screendox database that sits on your secure server and a tablet application that communicates with the Screendox database. Screendox is a small application that does not require much server space.
We can help you select the proper touchscreen hardware that meets your screening system needs. Wireless handheld tablets are mobile and can be used in various locations (e.g., lobby, private office, exam room). However, the tablets are provisioned to a specific department and location and should not be relocated without our assistance. We recommend that kiosk stations be placed in a location where your staff conducts the patient vital/triage routine. Each tablet must be connected to your network. We will coordinate the installation of Screendox with you and your IT staff.
Our team will install the Screenox server and tablet applications for you. Screendox requires custom configuration for each site due to differences in tablet and EHR configurations.
We will work with you to execute a business associate agreement and Screendox licensing agreement. If you have a business associate agreement and/or other agreements that you require, we will consider your agreements. A Screendox licensing agreement must be fully executed before we will schedule any installations. We do installations via remote access. Installations are usually done when your health center is closed. Once the installation is completed, we will test the installation to ensure the tablet and server applications are fully operational and to make sure Screendox is properly connected to your EHR. We help you create user accounts and will train your staff on how to use Screendox.
